Beginner & Technique Balinese Dance | Spring '26

Join us for Gamelan Dharma Swara's BEGINNER & TECHNIQUE DANCE SERIES. This 5-week series will cover a brief history of Balinese dance and introduce the different styles of the movement form. We will also visit ideas of musicality and the important connection between Balinese dance and gamelan music, while spending time on specific choreographic works, some classical and some contemporary. All of the pieces we will cover in this series are part of Gamelan Dharma Swara’s repertoire.
This is a PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN series of classes, with SUGGESTED donations of $25 per class, or $120 for the entire series.
