Our mission grows from a belief that because many trans people understand and weave our identities through experimental processes, there is an important cultural dimension to the ways we engage in experimental creativity.
We also believe that this cultural dimension of our creativity is intimately connected to our collective liberation.
As an organization we seek to foreground, nurture, and advance this culture through a wide range of programs, partnerships, and community activities.
Building a structure for intergenerational transmission of the knowledge trans people create is a key focus of our work.
We have a vision to build a community cultural center in New York City.
