Mechasonic is a musical-industrial spectacle unlike anything else. Featuring world-class musicians performing with grinders, oil drums, dismembered church-organ pipes, traffic cones, and dozens more strange and unusual sonic inventions, the experience is an awe-inspiring celebration of music, sound and creativity.
Formed in 2019 in a functioning metal shop in industrial Brooklyn, Mechasonic has expanded to become a touring multi-sensory experience featuring a diverse collective of musicians, artists and builders. Their annual show in Brooklyn has turned into a massive, 2-day mini-festival celebrating the strange and unusual, breaking down the barriers between concert, performance art, recording session, and ecstatic, celebratory PARTY. The collective has created experiences at festivals in the U.S., including playing for tens of thousands at Elements Festival.
