Ridgewood Commons hosts community dinners every Sunday (see schedule at http://ridgewoodcommons.nyc). They're typically not listed as withfriends events. However this Sunday dinner will be a fundraiser for the Lebanese Red Cross, and it seemed prudent to allow people an easy method to donate, even if you're not local and cannot attend the dinner.

As many of you know, more than a fifth of the Lebanese community has been displaced, its agricultural land is being subject to ecocide, with over 250 casualties and thousands injured just yesterday and all hospitals are overwhelmed with patients.

Since Lebanon needs help in all ways right now we are inviting you to a vegetarian Lebanese dinner to raise funds for the Lebanese Red Cross, a 100% volunteer led national organization which is responsible for Emergency medical services, social work services, and crisis response.

Come redirect your tax $$ to where they ought to be going!

The organizer of this dinner worked with the LRC for 5 years. If attending in person, you can ask any questions about the org, or more ways you can help in general regarding Lebanon.
