Coaxial is proud to present a screening of NOISE IS SERIOUS SHIT! A documentary film about noise in Indonesia, focusing in particular on the activities of the Jogja Noise Bombing group and the scene in Jogjakarta. The screening is one part of the Road To Jogja Noise Bombing + Friends Fest 2024, which is screening the film throughout Asia and the world.

After the screening, there will be live experimental music from Circuit Wound, Mohrer, and a collaboration between Pauline Lay and Nephila, displaying an eclectic cross section of noise styles in the Los Angles scene.

Noise is Serious Shit! Is a documentary movie about the people who make noise music in Yogyakarta (Indonesia). Directed by Hilman Fathoni, the 62 minutes long documentary movie interviews some of the noise acts & people who were involved in the noise scene in Yogyakarta.
From Ari Wulu Wok The Rock to Lintang “Kenalirangkaipakai”, Soni Irawan “Seek Six Sick”, Indra Menus & Ucok squaresolid etc, they talk about how the noise scene in Yogyakarta started & how they see the noise scene in general.
