Art & Sounds Party

Austin, Texas
Free

Friday August 8th, 2025
6pm - 9pm
Gemstone Palace - 1101 Bunton Creek Rd, Kyle, TX 78640

You’re invited to an Art Party hosted by Kyle Arts & Technology Society (KATS) and the Museum of Human Achievement!

The Museum of Human Achievement (MoHA) is bringing their bus Peanut to a community art party in Kyle to mark the end of summer break! Our extra special guest, “Peanut”, is a retrofitted 90s city bus that brings accessible activations like film screenings, art installations and more. This time, Peanut will transform into an arcade bus featuring some exciting Indie Games. In addition we will be hosting local young/emerging musicians and artists from Kyle for musical performances and art activations.

Enjoy our interactive photo booth, live performances, video games, karaoke and create some art to take home!

This event has been organized in collaboration with local organizations KATS (Kyle Arts & Technology Society), Forever 15 Project, and Hays Latinos United. Our gathering will include health and wellness resources such as information on the dangers of fentanyl and overdose prevention, as well as arts and crafts activities using sustainable materials. Thank you to the Museum of Human Achievement and the Texas Commission for the Arts for supporting this project.

Don't miss this opportunity to make art, see local talent from fellow Kylans (Kylites? Kylers?), and have a chill time with friends!
