Here Is My Power Button is a four hour long, near-future American Freeform larp about relationships, identity, and power. Great for any level of player experience. Participants play as either a newly formed AI, or humans part of a research study testing the companionship AI for the first time.
The game itself is played out through multiple rounds of one-on-one conversations between the AI companion and their human, and between each round the AIs and humans compare their experiences in group sessions. As the rounds pass, the AIs learn from the example of the human with whom they interact and their identities grow and change.

This game requires no costuming, nor prep ahead of time. Players will have the option to make a character up ahead of time based on prompts given by gamerunners, or to make their characters during workshops.
Trigger Warnings: Most of the content in this game is self-selected and negotiated between players, and there is time dedicated to calibrating content in the group and safety mechanics that players can use to negotiate play without stepping out of character.
Common themes of this game can include relationships with power imbalance, humanity and death, loss of innocence, and emotional gaslighting and abuse. All of these themes (with the exception of humanity and death) can be avoided if players choose. This game can be highly emotional if these themes are played into, and we encourage players to explore the themes of the game while also expressing and maintaining their personal boundaries.
Covid-19 Policy: Our full Covid policy can be found here. We require a negative Covid test, either rapid or PCR, before game. Participants can test up to 48 hours before attending, and we will have Covid tests available onsite for players for an additional five dollars. Masking is required until all Covid tests have been collected, and then is optional thereafter.
