About the show:
please join us for the final installment of Glyph's 3-part show residency. A night of four acts curated by @L.coats_ and @parallel_univvverse
Rooted in hypnotic melodies and mutated soundscapes, Glyph is the collaborative project of Kane Lafia and L. Coats.
Evanora:Unlimited is a multimedia project from Oakland-based interdisciplinary artist Orion Ohana exploring music, film, fashion, storytelling, and varying mediums of performance art. Evanora:Unlimited is not an artist alias but the title of an ever-changing formless concept and cinematic world showcasing various characters, described as being "based on true events, erotic science fiction, and religious horror epic." Orion is also known as their recent side project Marjorie -W.C Sinclair, a crucial anti-hero persona within the universe of Evanora:Unlimited. Birthed early 2020 in isolation, originally nothing more than an inside joke with no intention beyond being a secret alias to share random works that would be otherwise unreleased. Despite the project's initial lack of thought, Marjorie -W.C Sinclair would subconsciously take on a life of its own over the year, quickly becoming a shapeshifting yet distinct character within a complex storyline.
Hihelga is a very mean vampyric omen and weaponsmith from 17th century Connecticut, USA. She specializes in traditional helgan breakcore, breeding all eras of goth, dubstep, glitch, chiptune, cybergrind, raw black metal, and drum n bass together, in permanent wedlock. Hihelga is a founding member of Bitemare rave crew from Oakland, CA and NYC, a party crew dedicated to free hardcore tekno and industrial music who specialize in finding unique and new renegade locations for each party.
C. Lazard and T. Williams are joined in collaboration as Moment Trigger; an electronic duo who perform hardware sets that combine junk noise, gunk acid, distortion, and dark industrial sounds to create their own style of experimental techno.
Amulet is a singer-songwriter turned producer who’s unconventional sound design process leads the listener on an unexpected journey.
