The second task of the Building Together series will be to revitalize a public area! As a group, guests will have the opportunity to clean up a public space, recycle properly, and paint a sign to be left for others to be inspired by. By taking time to face our Earth’s pollution problem, on a small scale (it’s a start!), a sense of community is constructed. By helping to keep things clean, together, we can build a better planet. This is a great chance to be exposed first-hand to the ever-increasing amount of litter that gets left behind, learn what we can do to help, and then be empowered to take action. We’ll be working with our hands (with gloves on), heads, hearts, and friends––outside!

We’ll have a dedicated area to meet and work together with refreshments, but please bring your own if you’d like (there are local restaurants nearby that you can check out too). After all of our hard work is done, you’ll be invited to a nearby restaurant (21+) for sunset, food, and drinks to reward yourself for your excellent work!

The intention of Building Together is to create unique and accessible environments for groups of people to accomplish new goals through collaborative work.

By focusing on various tasks, which may be physically and mentally challenging, there emerges new opportunities to learn––especially when we consider how we work with others, how others work with us, how we work together, and how we can Build Together. Each event will have an objective that is uniquely different from the last to ensure guests always have new chances to experience connection.
