Description
In this workshop, you will learn how to enhance your mixes by using compression, equalization, and saturation to alter the harmonic and dynamic spectrums of a recording.
Resident teaching artist, Kate Siefker, will cover unconventional techniques, such as using compression as an equalizer, equalization as a dynamic medium, and distortion for harmonic enhancement.
Through hands-on exercises, you’ll experiment with creative tools to either emphasize or de-emphasize certain bandwidths of the frequency spectrum to produce a distinctive sound.
This workshop is suitable for those with basic knowledge of Ableton Live.
Please note: ticket registration closes 30 minutes prior to event start time.
