Tangled Thoughts: Owning Your Creative Process

As many who follow Mónica Hernández’s journey through social media and beyond, most are aware of her unique creative process behind her work from dancing to sketching to processing her tangled thoughts. Led by Kiara Ventura and with the help of Mónica Hernández, we will be creating an open conversation and writing workshop on how we as creatives can mold our own artistic processes to produce work that resonates with our individual narratives. As a result, participants will leave with ideas that will aid them in their creative processes. Participants will need to being a pen and notebook.

We will meet at the gallery, have a conversation/picnic at Tompkins Square Park, and come back to the gallery for a quick walkthrough.
