20 YEARS OF BREAKDANCING RONALD REAGAN.

"Can you believe it??? I've been using this alias for 20 years as of this coming June. I came up with the name BRR while watching Reagan's televised funeral on June 11th, 2004. I didn't know anything about him or care about politics, I was just 14 and thought it'd be funny if this old rich politician got out of his grave and breakdanced. I started this project in 2004, put out my first "release" via some random shitty defunct CDR label in 2005, played my first "show" in 2006, and started performing regularly in 2009; then touring frequently in 2011/2012ish. I've lived in various cities (Houston, Austin, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, and more!), attempted and failed at various genres (there was even a Cybergrind era), and made lots of enemies and friends along the way.

Because of my constant struggle to maintain a work/life balance, I decided to keep the celebrations simple and just book a really sick show with my favorite local friends at my favorite local venue. So come out. Details below!!!" - Hollywood "BRR" Johnny, 2024
