In September of 2021 we began an ongoing conversation with experimental vocalist and contemporary composer Odeya Nini.

The topic? What it means for us to inhabit and live in conversation with our environment through our voice. That question has guided us in 3+ years of collaboration, from the peaks of mountains to a historic Japanese Garden, from an abandoned water tower in Malibu to a 90yr old library at the foot of Griffith Park. When you meet a fellow fanatic of exploring the acoustic resonances of natural space, you explore.

Odeya will begin at 3:33p and we’ll offer tea following her performance, for those who’d like to sit and chat and perhaps even watch the sunset together around 5p.

FYI: Due to limited parking, capacity is limited. Please drive carefully, bring water + extra warm layers, and leave plenty of time for the slow twists and turns of the mountain road + a 10-15min walk from your car to our gathering point.
