THE SPIRIT OF NYC roams the halls of The City Reliquary on the scariest night of the year! Delights and frights are second only to SAFETY on this creepy evening. All ghouls and goblins in our spine-tingling haunted museum walk-through will be behind glass! Masks required for entry! Arrive in our open-air secret garden for a socially-distanced happy hour with FREE BEER and recitations of poetry and incantations. The City Reliquary is brewing up a show full of ravenous burlesque, sideshow monstrosities, and mind bending music for a freaky, weird, unforgettable Halloween!

WHAT IS THE CITY RELIQUARY?
Reliquaries typically house the ostensible bones of dead saints. We house the bones of New York City.

The City Reliquary has an illustrious history of raising the dead and lifting spirits by telling tattles and tales from every borough. Now more than ever the voice of every New Yorker needs to be heard.

WHY THIS WHOLE MEMBERSHIP PUSH?
The Reliquary has always just squeaked by on the generosity of many, but COVID-19 has put us in a very tough position.

We need 300 members sustaining us at $10/month each by November 22 in order to keep the Reliquary open in Brooklyn. Otherwise we will be forced to close and figure out what’s next. $3,000/month means sustainability for us, into the future. Please consider becoming a member, and staying one. We’ll keep events like this going to make your membership worthwhile.

SCHEDULE
The first hour of your selected showtime will feature socially distanced arrivals, with one party at a time walking through our MYSTERY MUSEUM.

You’ll emerge into our SPELLBINDING OUTDOOR GARDEN for a HAPPY HOUR, free beer kindly provided by our neighbors at Brooklyn Brewery. Feel free to bring your own food or other beverages!

As the clock strikes pricisely one hour past your start time, the SALACIOUS SHOW begins. I apologize I am not at liberty to say more.

50 minutes hence, you’ll be brisky swept out the door to make way for our next batch of arrivals. Continue on into your Halloween night.

SAFETY
Total attendance at one time is capped strictly at 22 people, including all performers and staff. There are 7 staff and performers, and 15 tickets will be sold.

Tickets are sold in “pods” admitting one or two people. Each isolated "pod" of chairs is 6 feet from others. If your party is 3 or larger, please email jacob@cityreliquary.org so we can accommodate. Please be accurate with your group size: due to strict COVID attendance caps, we cannot accommodate more people than your ticket allows. Similarly, if anyone in your party has to cancel, please email jacob@cityreliquary.org ASAP so we can offer the seat to someone else.

The majority of the show is in the backyard, with plenty of room to distance, except for some masked and distanced characters in the museum as you make your way to the backyard. If you prefer these indoor characters not be present, simply let us know at the door.

Facemasks are required at all times except when seated outdoors to drink.

Plenty of hand sanitizer is available for all.

ACCESSIBILITY
The museum is entirely flat, but there are 4 steps up and down to the backyard. The backyard is uneven but no major steps. Contact us and we're happy to figure out how we can accommodate you.
