“At the northern edge of Los Angeles city limits, there is a 300-acre piece of wild land. It is home to oak trees and sagebrush, year-round water, gullies and streams and mountain lions. It is the ancestral homeland to the Gabrielino-Tongva and Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians. It is now slated for imminent development into a luxury gated community called ‘Canyon Hills’.”
- Rio Asch Phoenix
We join our friends Rio Asch Phoenix & No Canyon Hills for a group hike above the proposed development. We’ll take breaks for tea, for music, for discussion, and hike in solidarity with one another.
All donations will be sent to No Canyon Hills urgent legal defense fund.
