The first Wednesday of every month from 6-7 EST, PSNY will host a Virtual Town Hall to connect with the New York poetry community.Dear Friends of The Poetry Society of New York, Thank you so much for loving poetry as much as we do! Thank you for being such a crucial element of the growth of this organization. And thank you for your continued interest in the future of poetry in our city, our culture, and our society. We have all experienced a lot these last few years and our team at The Poetry Society of New York is no exception. There has been a lot of growth and change and new opportunities to accomplish our mission and we would love to have the opportunity to include you in the process as it unfolds. We are so eager to connect with you and to have a chance to hear what’s been going on in the worlds you all inhabit. Talk about burying the lead! To that end, we would love to invite you to our new monthly Poetry Society of New York Town Hall. Starting on Wednesday, February 1st, we will be hosting an online gathering of our community with the intention of sharing what is going on within the organization and hearing what we can do to better serve you, our poetry community. Each meeting will start with a recap of our programs from the previous month, an update on our up-coming events, and a status report of our on-going initiatives. We’ll let you know what new ideas we’re percolating in our minds and what classic projects we are dreaming of bringing back into action. We will also be available to answer your questions and listen to your suggestions. We are entering what feels like a new era at PSNY and we are so excited to have you along for the ride. We’ve added new team members and new projects. We are better resourced and feel more capable than ever of achieving our mission and bringing poetry to our community in unique and innovative ways.
