Glyph is the experimental project of Kane Lafia and L Coats. Their self-titled debut EP is out this week on all platforms. The duo's first single "Hindwing" is included on the most recent compilation of the acclaimed Mutants Mixtape series (along with tracks by Merzbow, Fire-Toolz, Arca, Fraxiom, Nicolas Jaar, and Andy Morin.) The duo is based in Los Angeles and New York. Coats and Lafia met to jam for the first time in 2019 and immediately started making music together. Inspired by their time spent busking around Los Angeles and musical explorations during quarantine, this 25-min live set features material the duo improvised during a jam session earlier this month.
