Dive hands first into synth history!
This is the first installment of a workshop series exploring groundbreaking electronic instruments, how they were created, and who created them. Each workshop focuses on one synth company at a time, this time ARP Instruments!
We will examine the history of synthesis using ARP creations as a lens and how the instrument designs changed over time.
We will have both vintage (!) and reissue versions of ARP's classic synthesizers on hand for you to play for yourself. Both beginner and experienced synthesists are encouraged to learn or simply enjoy these instruments.
Presented by Thomas Fang, Matthew Rempes, and Max Jersak
