'The Hustle Habit' is a monthly conversation series with art world movers + makers, hosted virtually with PARADICE PALASE co-founders Kat & Lauren. Each session we invite a guest to share their experiences, stories, and more about how they got started on various projects, businesses, or side hustles.

For our October session, we'll be connecting with Courtney Childress - an artist, curator, former gallerist, and artist adviser. She co-founded yours mine & ours gallery in the Lower East Side of New York in 2016. Previously she was the Director of Life on Mars Gallery from 2015-2016. She worked for On Stellar Rays from 2010-2015, starting as an assistant and working her way up to Director at the gallery. Most recently, she co-founded Ninth Street Collective, a group of administrators, gallerists, curators, writers and critics who offer one-on-one consultations with artists and serve as a hub for resources to support artist development and career growth.
