Bring a blanket and join us underneath a massive and awe inspiring Peruvian Peppercorn Tree, located within the beloved Audubon Center at Debs Park. Every third Saturday we gather here to celebrate the Audubon Center’s ongoing native habitat restoration work and to pair their stewardship with artists that we share community with.
Our friends Ceasefire Choir will be joining us this afternoon to share music, poetry, and art in response to ongoing genocide in Gaza. We’ll be raising funds, connecting the dots between ongoing struggles for liberation, and showing care for one another. Please bring a reusable coffee mug, as we’ll also be brewing Café Zapatista, a cup of solidarity grown by the Zapatistas in Chiapas.
The Audubon Center has an onsite parking lot, accessibility parking, restrooms, and water fountains. Please be in touch if you have any questions or need a hand feeling comfortable in the outdoors! We’re all we have.
