Coaxial is excited to welcome San Francisco's Wobbly (Jon Leidecker, currently of Negativland), local legend Brad Laner (Medicine, Debt Of Nature), local favorite Cate Kennan, and LAFMS mainstay Joseph Hammer for a Sunday evening full of obscure and unusual sonics, curated by DJ Professor Cantaloupe, who will be pulling from his piles of CD's all night.

Wobbly is the project of San Francisco-based artist Jon Leidecker, who has been making music since 1987 and is currently a member of infamous "culture jammers" Negativland. He currently hosts the legendary Over The Edge radio program, taking over hosting duties following the passing of creator Don Joyce. He has released material on such notable labels as Tigerbeat6, Important Records, and Illegal Art and has collaborated with Matmos, People Like Us, and Dieter Moebius, among many others.

Los Angeles's Brad Laner has been making music since the age of 15, and he is the founder of such crucial projects as the American shoegaze powerhouse Medicine and the elusive experimental improv collective Debt Of Nature. Tonight, he will be presenting a work of solo modular synthesis.

Cate Kennan is a Los Angeles-based sound artist exploring the outer-reaches of electronics and their convergence and interaction with more conventional instrumentation such as guitar and organ. She has been performing live since 2017, and her solo debut The Arbitrary Dimension Of Dreams was released in 2022 on Post Present Medium.

Joseph Hammer is a long-running member of the hugely influential LAFMS (Los Angeles Free Music Society). He's performed both solo and as a member of Dinosaurs With Horns, Joe & Joe (with fellow LAFMS member Joe Potts), and Points Of Friction. His recent solo performances have been pushing tape music to its most outer limits, a deliriously immersive and compelling adventure.
