Our first hike on the Westside of LA! Come with us on a 👻 haunted hike 👻 along Rustic Creek as we scope the plant scene and wander towards a series of abandoned structures that tell a story of separatism and fascism in the 1930’s.

We’ll meet just up the street from Adam Sandler’s house (not a joke) to embark on a gorgeous 3.5mi out and back loop within the Santa Monica Mountains. Please bring lots of water, wear cozy hiking shoes, and if you do bring a pup, we ask that you keep them on leash for the hike to respect our local critters and the other hikers.

We’re beginning this hike at noon to allow for a nice slow morning for everyone & hope to be back at our cars around 2:30-3p. If you’re seeking local recs we simply love Santa Monica spots like Bay Cities Italian Deli (skip the line & peek the pre-mades), Samosa House, Thai Vegan, and hanging out to watch the sunset from Ginger Rogers Beach.

We’d call this a chill, moderate hike which will have one steep downhill section and then a gentle ascent back up to the main fire road. There are no restrooms or water fountains available along this trail so pls take care of your needs before arriving.
