For our fifth and final night, Thursday September 13th, we are proud to bring about the wildest night under the Austin sky: afrofuturist, hardcore poet Moor Mother will make us timetravel bending the spacetime continuum via sonic assault; Monster bassist Matthew Lux will lead his Communication Arts Quarter into unexplored Jazz territory; Texas-born avant-garde excessman Craig Clouse and his London-based Shit & Shine unit will twiddle some knobs and drop some beats in a set full of in-your-face sonic fuckery; Power jazz ensamble Jonathan F. Horne Quintet will flex some muscle showcasing a handful of Austin (and Houston’s) most consistent players; Anagram will live premier their latest sonic adventure ‘Polaris Moving’, and finally; Ancient spirits will be summoned through the deep avant-garde meditations of Canadian guitarist and oud player Gordon Grdina.
