Members Only Night at the Museum

Brooklyn, New York
$128.02 (includes all fees)

Enjoy a crisp, casual, late, and free night at the museum for members and their guests. 7pm to 10pm, come and go as you please. All ages are welcome, but proof of vaccination is required for those 12 and over, in accordance with Key to NYC guidelines.

Whether you've been coming to the Reliquary since our apartment window beginnings in 2002, fondly remember classic events like Bicycle Fetish Day, or just joined during our pandemic explosion of backyard programming, this evening is a chance to meet everyone else who has made the Reliquary what it is over the past 15 years.

- Galleries open late, including our current exhibition The Call of Candy
- Live Irish music (with NYC overtones) by The Winter Court
- Patented 10-minute gallery tours throughout the evening (find Jacob and ask for one)
- A beverage on the house, with additional drinks available by donation
- BYO food, comforting beverage, picnic blanket, show & tell artifact. This is an evening to celebrate and share things
- Or bring nothing at all, and we'll hook you up

If you're a member, simply sign into Withfriends and watch the price instantly drop to zero. If you manage to buy a full-price ticket, it includes one year of membership.

If you are brining non-member guests, simply reserve one free ticket then email jacob@cityreliquary.org with the number of guests you plan to bring.

ACCESSIBILITY & SAFETY
The main entrance and indoor gallries are entirely flat, but there are 4 steps up and 4 steps down to the backyard. The backyard is uneven with some platforms, but a paved area near the entrance is available with a view of the stage.

Under current NYC law, all guests must have valid proof of COVID-19 vaccination to enter. Facemasks are welcome but will not be required at this event. Beverages & unmessy food will be permitted both outside and in the galleries.

Well-behaved pets are welcome.

Email jacob@cityreliquary.org with any questions or needs, and we'll happy to work out if and how we can accommodate.

WHAT IS THE CITY RELIQUARY?
Reliquaries typically house the ostensible bones of dead saints. We’re a museum that houses the bones of New York City. From seltzer bottles to schist cores, roller skates from racially integrated rinks, to a burnt out lightbulb from the Statue of Liberty's torch.

WHY MEMBERSHIP?
We are a fully volunteer-run nonprofit museum & civic organization, and we can plan our finances much better around reliable “subscriptions” than the whims of admissions & ticket sales. This show, as with all our events, is free for members.

WHAT ELSE?
Please come prepared to tip the performers via cash, Venmo, or Cash App. Beverages available via cash or Venmo.
