Join us for an afternoon celebrating Austin’s vibrant media arts community! As part of the Austin Studio Tour, UNESCO Austin and The Museum of Human Achievement are teaming up to host a casual Sip & Learn—an open invitation to connect, collaborate, and get inspired.
Enjoy complimentary bites, grab a drink from MoHA’s community bar, and mingle with the people and organizations shaping the future of media arts in Austin. Meet leaders from The Museum of Human Achievement, Austin Cinemaker Space, Austin School of Film, Hyperreal Filmclub, Fusebox Festival, We Luv Video, Arcos Dance, City of Austin Arts, and more!
Throughout the day, hear from featured local media artists Aira McGilber, p1nkstar, Tiffany Smith, and Virginia L. Montgomery on what it’s like to create and present work in Austin and beyond. Engage with nonprofit leaders in short panels and conversations, discover new creative opportunities, and meet the UNESCO Austin team working behind the scenes to elevate our city’s global Media Arts designation.

The Museum of Human Achievement (MoHA) has aging floors and a gravel parking lot. We recommend closed toe flat shoes, and an outfit that won't snag or get tripped on. We want you to have the best time while remaining safe and gorgeous.

Travel & Parking Information
Austin Studio Tour is upon us! We highly recommend ride-sharing and using alternative modes of transportation, parking will be limited.
MoHA is located behind the Canopy Art Complex in a gravel parking lot. Guests can park for free in our lot and find free/paid street parking.
Riding bikes? We are accessible for bikes via several trails that connect to Springdale Road.
Riding the bus? The two closest bus stops to MoHA are at the 7th/Springdale stop and the Springdale/Govalle stop. We recommend using Google maps or Cap Metro Trip planner to confirm your route.
