The punk scene is arguably the most diverse "scene" there is. Yet inadvertently, walking into the average show, bills aren't reflective of the scene's diversity. Punx of Color (PXOC) is a show series featuring only bands with members of color. We strive to create a space that is not only for POC, but particularly for WOC and LGBTQ/non-binary folks. Each show is a benefit for an organization that supports immigrant/POC rights. 100% of ticket profit (after paying bands) is donated. In addition, all profits from limited edition PXOC merch are also donated. Previously we have donated to Make the Road NY and The Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights. Punx of Color 4 is raising money for The Black Alliance for Just Immigration.
