MERDE seeks to make dance ubiquitous and spectacular by surrounding artists with a ridiculously supportive, stainless steel scaffolding off of which their ideas can soar into the Ridgewood skyline. Starting out as a backyard party in Bed-Stuy, MERDE has developed into a testing ground for experimental performance works based in movement.
