PSNY's BIPOC Committee hosts a monthly virtual meeting to give space for people share work and resources and engage in themed discussions.
Join us for PSNY’s BIPOC Circle- a place to connect with diverse writers from across the country. Established by our BIPOC Committee, this circle has been developed as a space for our community to safely share work, experiences, and discourse in an environment by us, for us. While topics do not necessarily center around our being BIPOC, we center BIPOC experience & know that our experiences deserve a space among those who can empathetically resonate.
Each month, the BIPOC Circle functions as a workshop, discussion space, or features a speaker from our community. Discussions are framed around themed topics, and are moderated by a member of the BIPOC Committee of PSNY. Sharing of resources (literature, community events, grants available for application, etc) is welcome & connecting with other members is encouraged, with consent & respect. Attendees of the BIPOC Circle are also granted complimentary access to Milk Press workshops!
