Katy’s music is deeply introspective—cerebral, unsparing, and texturally rich. Her 2024 debut album (produced by Phil Weinrobe – Big Thief, Hand Habits) was described by PopMatters as “dreamlike but rooted in authentic, basic principles of songwriting and performance.” Her follow-up record (2025) has drawn comparisons to Aldous Harding, Julia Holter, and Suzanne Vega. Live, she’s shared the stage with Laura Veirs, Jolie Holland, Kyp Malone (TV On the Radio), Diane Cluck, Jesse Harris, and many others. Katy often incorporates visual art and puppetry into her performances, offering an immersive and multi-sensory set.
