Voice of voice NYC
kicked-off at Cielo in 2004. From the beginning our party was inspired by and connected to all of the other phenomenal parties of the days of old NYC clubland and the parties of the 90's & early 2000’s. Always about paying homage, Voice of voice NYC is a celebration of all voices together; BIG and small; any voice raised to share great LoveEnergy with others ...

The Real
is an event series borne out of the partnership of Kervyn Mark and Rita Infante that brings New York City's' increasingly diverse community together to celebrate its rich historical legacy. Its purpose is to promote music, culture, art, and commerce. Here you will find an eclectic range of musicians, DJ's, performance & visual artists, with Coney Island as its backdrop. Bring your good spirits & Dance! Music! Relax!

The Melting Pot Global
begun in 2002 was a collective dedicated to bringing global soulful dance music to the masses through the arts. A monthly event for deep & soulful house headz that LOVE 2 dance!!! with resident DJs Kervyn Mark & Kamala. It became a NYC must-go-to event; gaining nominations as Best Monthly Event for the Underground Archives Choice Awards. In addition to experiencing the arts, attendees were often treated to the sounds of other well known DJ’s who have moved dance floors around the world. Names such as Osunlade, Louie Vega, DJ Spinna, The Martinez Brothers all took part in the event.

The Melting Pot Global offered a space where everyone felt welcome, regardless of age, sex, color or social status, and was a gathering of like-minded individuals who celebrate dance music, art, poetry, etc and the positive culture that the music embodies.

Hector Romero aka Baby Hec
There have been lots of changes over the past four decades of New York Nightlife. The sounds have gone from disco to freestyle to house to techno; the venues have gone from Studio 54 to Palladium to Sound Factory to Pacha to Output; and the borough to dance in has gone from Manhattan to Brooklyn. But there has been one element in the community that has been able to survive the ever – evolving landscape, and that is the DJ. Not many of course, but a few talented, inspired DJ / Artists have remained at the forefront of the industry during this time.

One of those is the artist formerly Known as DJ Baby Hec in the 80’s, and now Hector Romero. Born and raised in The Bronx, Hector’s DJ experiences include playing legendary venues likes Limelight, Palladium, Save The Robots and The Roxy. Over the years he has evolved into one of New York City’s prime ambassadors of house, bringing his unique soulful and rugged house vibe to venues around the world. With 30+ years of experience this career jock is now throwing his musical diversity and eclectic taste into the remix/production arena. Under his belt are various compilations including King Street’s “Soulful House Journey”, Nervous Record’s “Weaving Genres” Vol.1 and the soon to be released follow-up “Weaving Genres “Vol. 2. This project showcases Hector’s abilities not only as a DJ but as an A&R exec. He sharpened his skills at Def Mix Music and Saw Recordings alongside legends like David Morales and Frankie Knuckles.

Those relationships taught him essential lessons about the equal importance of a great beat and a great song. Hector is currently hosting his online radio show called “The Network” located in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
Although New York is still his home, Hector spends a great deal of time traveling where he can be found stirring up dance floors in Italy, Greece, Japan, Spain and various parts of the world.
