This ticket is a buy-in fee for an exclusive meat share in collaboration with Local Foods. The Monday 2/22 meat share will be a beef chuck primal from La Pryor Farm in Ottawa, IL. The beef chuck gives us a wonderful variety of cuts, from grilling favorites like flatiron and chuck flap, to braising and smoking beauties like short ribs, beef shank, and brisket.

A beef chuck from La Pyror usually weighs in around 130 pounds. This meat share is a ten-way split, with each share coming to approximately 8-10 pounds - enough to stock your freezer and leave you with a few cuts to throw right on the grill. All cuts are portioned to feed 2-4 people, and they are wrapped and ready for the freezer.

The per pound price will be $5.95/per pound, charged on the exact weight of your share by Local Foods on the pick-up day. Including the buy-in cost, the total per pound price is to about $9 - less than the per pound cost of La Pyror ground beef.

The ticket is also good for one Share Owner's Guide to recognizing, cooking, freezing, and thawing the cuts in the share.

Contact-free or in-store pickup will be available at Local Foods on Monday 2/22 and throughout that week, during their business hours. Ticket holders will be charged for their share of the meat by Local Foods on Monday 2/22.
