Landscape in the Metaverse

This ‘Meta Landscape’, a contemporary tableau vivant, is a relative of the Light and Space Movement. Similarly, advanced industrial and/or consumer grade materials and technologies have been used to manipulate light and create perceptual phenomena.

In response to the corporate owned and defined metaverse; a monetized platform designed to remove money from your wallet, and you from your environment and community at large! My project proposes an alternate metaverse with minimal technology and materials, one that is realized as an opportunity to rediscover your locality and the wonders that already exist therein.

Using common existing hardware & software (phones) and any affordable VR headset anyone anywhere can now be transported in real-time to a parallel dimension of sublime light and color. With the addition of elevating music and naturally occurring sounds, people will be able to enter this new dimension, an enchanted space where one can reinvent and reinvigorate themselves.

In this manner, the interior of Coaxial Arts will be transformed. A simple paper and paint, black and white, land form will blossom before your eyes into a landscape of fantastic proportions and color.
