In this hands-on DIY workshop, Shannon from Greenface Labs will help you build and take home a PBJ EU: Proto Board with Jacks for Eurorack!

Do you design or want to design Eurorack circuitry? The Greenface Labs PBJ-EU is ready when you are! It’s a Eurorack module that is a Proto Board with Jacks and much more. No need to hook up jacks and power. Easily transport your designs to performances or to show them off.

Features:
High-quality parts from Digi-Key
800 point solderless proto board
4 switched 3.5mm jacks.
Tip and Switch signals are routed from the jacks to the wiring connector.
+/- 12V and adjustable +5V and 3.3V power rails are routed to the wiring connector.
LED monitors for each jack. Red indicates positive voltage present. Blue indicates negative.
Test point per jack gives convenient access for scope/meter probes and injecting signals.
2 Large Ground connection points are excellent for attaching alligator clips.
3 MULT switches connect jack 1 to 2, jack 2 to 3 or jack 3 to 4.
Power is switched.
Power indicators show the status of all power rails.
10 pin EU power output connector can be used to power off-rack modules.
22 HP wide.

Tickets are required to attend. Admission covers the cost of parts for the build along with an instructor fee, and assists Synth Library Portland with overhead costs for our space. Capacity for this workshop is limited to five, and no previous experience is required. All parts and supplies are provided, but you may also bring your own soldering iron and/or fume extractor fan.
