Mechanical Grinding Reaction started in November 2021 as a streaming event curated by Johnathan Cash (curator of past Texas/Colorado events such as 9/11 Noisefest, Austin Noisefest, Sux by Suxwest, and ULTRA METAL; now a Los Angeles resident) featuring live and video performances by Exjesus, Elsie Shiro, Unsustainable Social Condition, Sunk Cost, Clox King, Seepage, H LITE, Circuit Wound, Tralphaz, Eva Aguila, and Sissisters. As the times change and the world morphs into whatever it is now; this event has evolved into a live setting, with masks, vax, and limited capacity measures in place for optimal safety.

This time around the performances will be 15 minute or less Noise sets that range from the chaotic noisy breaks of Discrete Vacation (fka TIK///TIK), to the pedal-slamming chaos of Xome, to the disgusting Performance (F)Art parody sounds of Breakdancing Ronald Reagan, to the precise cutup action of NYC legends such Parasite Nurse & Negation, to the solo sound art works of Sprain's April Joy Gerloff aka Dark Pulse, to so so much more. Blink and you'll miss a Noise icon so pay attention and be ready.

It's $12 per day but weekend passes will be available for $20 and are highly recommended. Every day will be stacked and, like Aerosmith, you don't want to miss a thing.
