A Modular Collaboration is a kind of networked sonic exchange in which each participant becomes a node in an interconnected system. The whole system is developed from within the group instead of being a pre-existing framework. The workshop by Neumann - on Modular Collaboration - became a recording session at Berklee and formed the initial stage of the process. From the pool of recordings each participant consequently developed a short spatial composition, which you can now experience in our 8-channel Listening Room at Fridman Gallery.
