Acoustic Time Travel Salon in the Galleries

Brooklyn, New York
$11.90 (includes all fees)

It's the Reliquary as you know it, but open late & full of jazz.

Acoustic, low-key, mixed standing, seating, and mingling throughout the night. Beverages available by donation.

Free for Reliquary members and their +1, $10 otherwise.

THE MUSEUM
A wunderkammer of Old New York, from seltzer delivery bottles to Manhattan schist, and a burnt-out lightbulb from the Statue of Liberty's Torch.

This is also one of the final days to explore BIRD SHOW, our current special exhibition on birds, people, and bird people in the city. Curator Jacob Ford will be onhand for miniature gallery tours.

THE MUSIC
Part nineteenth-century salon, part twentieth-century palm court gathering, and part twenty-first century experimental collaboration, Jack Beal and friends invite you to partake in an evening of music and community set somewhere between present-day and yester-day New York City.

Performances will be offered throughout the evening by both local and traveling bards, including:

The Post Valley Green
Sunjay Jayaram
Emmye Vernet
Eric Douglas Alexander (A Simple Pig)
&c.;

NOTE: different musicians pictured. Enlarged to show texture.

In the latter half of the evening, friends and strangers alike are welcome to join in some impromptu musicmaking. Come enjoy the evening air with us!
