Join us for the May edition of NYC’s monthly event organizer meetup—this time hosted by Intercom, Ridgewood’s experimental media space. What began as a way for Withfriends’ Joe Ahearn to connect organizers across projects has grown into a regular gathering of folks building everything from fledgling DIY shows to legacy institutions.

Each month, we meet at a different independent space to share strategies, swap resources, and troubleshoot challenges in a supportive, peer-driven environment. This month’s session will be facilitated by Jordan Michael of Temporary State University, an experimental education project for cultural organizers. We’ll start with a brief Q&A with Intercom, then break into small group discussions to connect more deeply.
