'The Hustle Habit' is a monthly conversation series with art world movers + makers, hosted virtually with PARADICE PALASE co-founders Kat & Lauren. Each session we invite a guest to share their experiences, stories, and more about how they got started on various projects, businesses, or side hustles.

For our February session, we'll be connecting with Peace, an interdisciplinary artist, writer, and teaching artist. Her practice encompasses multimedia art rooted in poetry and love as radical activism. As a teaching artist she curates curriculums for children and adults around social and
emotional intelligence. Still considered an early career artist, Peace uses that flexibility as a way to directly connect with her peers and the arts community. Through her own difficulties navigating the fine arts world, Peace uses her administrative skills to create templates and tools for herself and now budding artists to use as \\[we\\] develop
ourselves professionally. Understanding the gap between the literary and visual arts world, Peace serves as an accomplice for visual artists, helping them express
themselves and their practice in articulate ways that allow them to expand in their careers. She self-published a collection of poems for the book titled "Inside A Whore's Mind" in 2018, and has attended residencies including with Arteles in Haukijärvi, Finland, Mauser Ecohouse in Costa Rica, and ChaNorth in Pine Plains, NY.
