Let's cast a spell; as the days grow longer and Lupercalia falls into place, the light has always been willing to return if we have patience.
Our obsession with finding love and "the one" is not a new one. Love and glamour magick is traced back to ancient Egypt including cuneiform tablets and erotic rituals. In the 15th and 18th centuries, villagers within the United Kingdom were known to seek out witches for love spells including plant medicine and astrology. However, for the most part, love spells and glamour magic works best when done on the self, as energetic ties between two people can be difficult to break once bonded. Besides, there's no reason to chase what's meant for us.
Within this workshop, we'll be setting intention through ritual in a series of self-love poems and overview of spell work. We'll start with a writing exercise practicing our visualization skills and going over the power of intention, before moving on to different ways to write self-love poems and conjure self-love spells. If we have time, we'll conclude the workshop with a group poem and cover the different moon phases associated with glamour magick.
Here's to stepping into cupid's month with the sun waxing, reflecting it with our inner light.
**This workshop will take place on Zoom.**
