It’s time to get slick! Join audio/visual collaborative, “slickcontrol,” for the worldwide premiere of their debut visual album, “we are slick control.” Enjoy live sets by artists Cienfuegos (@quepena305) and DJ MicFreak (@djmicfreak) as well as performances by slickcontrol members themselves: Melissa F, Clarke (@m_f_clarke), Chiqo Casidi (@chiqocasidi), Benjy Bradshaw (@benjybradshaw), Mary Lyn (@mlyngraves), and Adrianna (@movewithaud). It’s going to be wild – the event will also be livestreamed on Twitch.

About slickcontrol: “slickcontrol” is a fluid collaboration between Melissa F. Clarke (she/her), Benjy Bradshaw (he/him), and a growing group of various artists such as vocalist Chiqo Casidi (she/her), dancers Mary Lyn (she/her), Adrianna (she/her), and Liminal (they/them). The visual album has tracks that are dance & electronic influenced as well as references from techno, house, synth wave and hyper pop. Beautiful music videos will also be released to accompany each song.

About the Artists: Clarke has a background in noise and sound art, working resonant guitar pedals with contact mics, field recordings and data. This texture is taken into producer and singer Bradshaw’s fusion of hyper pop, house and dance music with an idiosyncratic composing style. Chiqo is a singer, composer & songwriter that has published music in the R&B, Neo Soul genre. slickcontrol also includes a visual component with dancers Mary Lyn, Adrianna, and Liminal. This collaboration has resulted in various songs and remixes which are now resulting in the debut album. There are also remix collaborations in the works with DJ MicFreak and more.
