Bandits on the Run is a musical trio comprised of Adrian Enscoe, Sydney Shepherd, and Regina Strayhorn. Formed upon a chance encounter while busking in the subways of New York City, the Brooklyn based outfit has gone on to receive accolades from NPR Music’s All Songs Considered, American Songwriter, NPR Weekend Edition, and the Johnny Mercer Songwriters Project. 2020 found them busy writing and recording their EP “Now Is The Time” with producer Ryan Hadlock (Brandi Carlile, The Lumineers) and producing a short musical film “Band At The End Of The World” commissioned by NYC based Prospect Theater Company. 2022 saw them they have composing music for the Netflix children’s animated series “Storybots”, scoring the newest Peter Hedges movie "The Same Storm", and touring the globe with appearances at the Cambridge Folk Festival, Floydfest, Milwaukee Summerfest, Americanafest, and the Singapore Grand Prix. Their next release will be their most collaborative yet: a self-produced EP featuring various and sundry bandit friends that explores the tensions of a world that has been broken open but is putting itself back together; it is slated for release mid 2023.

Patty PerShayla & The Mayhaps pulled up to the Michigan music scene in a vintage van, well stocked with songs and stories but not seatbelts. Coming off her solo EP, Oracle Bones (winner of the WYCE Jammie Award for Best Rock/Pop Album of 2019), Patty brings the same sweet but powerful voice and whimsical lyricism bar, club, and brewery-goers throughout the state and beyond have come to know and love, cranked up to 11 with guitarist Lucas Powell and drummer Alec Klinefelter. Showing yet another side of her artistic versatility, Patty dons the bass guitar in this genre-bending power trio, boasting an eclectic and authentic sound with a strutting, stomping, crooning good time onstage.
Inspired by blues, classic, and progressive rock, the Mayhaps make a nostalgic introduction via analog tape on their debut record, Cheap Diction. Her lyrics being the centerpiece of the record, PerShayla delivers raw vocals that come through on the energetic and introspective songs alike, the band emphasizing the message through thoughtful arrangements and compelling guitar solos.
Though the internet is often a subject of scrutiny on Cheap Diction, the Mayhaps have honed their online presence through the COVID-19 pandemic, successfully crowdfunding their first music video for “Slo Mo” overnight on Kickstarter. “Slo Mo” was awarded Best Music Video at the 2022 Grand Rapids Film Festival and was an official selection for North x North and DeadCenter film festivals. Patty has made use of her time at home by writing songs for a dedicated audience on Patreon, performing cover songs requested by patrons, and participating in She Shreds’ One Riff a Day (#1RAD) challenge on Instagram.
Beyond The Mayhaps, Patty also joined multi-instrumentalists The Accidentals as their fourth set of hands during their 2021 Vessel national tour. In 2022, she also joined progressive rock group and Rush tribute band YYNOT as their lead singer. She continues to rack up views on her ukulele cover of “Closer to the Heart” on YouTube and study the music of her favorite power trio.
