We are excited to present our first ever DAP Movie Night, which will be happening monthly on every first Tuesday. Each month we will have a community member host a film of their choosing. For this first one our DAP tenant Luis Berroa chose "Slam":
Released in 1998, Slam follows the story of Raymond Joshua, a street poet and weed dealer who gets caught up on the wrong side of crime. Facing 3 years Ray must struggle to keep his sanity as he looks for a way out. Led by the charismatic Saul Williams and the ferocious Sonja Sohn this movie leaves no stone unturned. Be prepared for poetry, raps, romance, and that woke talk you've been craving.
