Join Psychedelic Sangha founding member, scientist, meditator, and adventure-seeker Katherine MacLean, PhD in a month-long deep dive into her debut book, Midnight Water: A Psychedelic Memoir.

From medical institutions to meditation halls, cow farms to crematoriums, Dr. MacLean navigates the underworld with the help of human, plant and fungi companions, and Midnight Water is the resulting treasure map. Join us as we use this map to explore strange, spooky and surprising terrains of mind, body and Earth.

The first Thursday meeting on October 5th is open to all and will offer an overview of the major themes of the book: death, birth, illness, memory, childhood, parenthood, and spirituality. There will also be a FREE book giveaway at the end of the meeting.

The following three Thursdays in October (12, 19, and 26) will be limited to 20 attendees and will offer a private, confidential and serious inquiry into the application of psychedelics and meditation on the path from birth through death.

Each Thursday session will be led by Dr. MacLean and will include a brief meditation followed by an introduction of the theme for the week, then a 5-7 min reading from the book, and finally opening to discussion and Q&A.

Attendees will be able to submit requests for specific themes and sections of the book to be covered. Access to a copy of Midnight Water (e-book, print or audio formats available) is required to participate.
