Brasil Trio, Sidecar Agogo, and The Electro Rhythm Collective perform LIVE at Drom in the East Village, NYC!

A modern Brazilian Jazz band, Brasil Trio + 1 navigates through this music's styles never straying away from its strong traditions.

Co-led by drummer/composer Rodrigo Bonelli and bassist/composer Pier Pappalardo, Brasil Trio + 1 fostered its distinctive sound by performing weekly in NYC. The band's debut album, Brooklyn Sessions, brings the richest elements of Brazilian music to the forefront. Beautiful melodies and strong rhythms can be heard throughout. The band's sound is rounded up the Alto Saxophone and flute playing of Jim Piela and the guitar of Aaron Barak. Brooklyn Sessions also features the beautiful voice of singer Erin Blatti and the playing of Brazilian trumpeter virtuoso Guilherme Dias Gomes.
