Schmeeze @ 8 PM

The fuel that powers Schmeeze comes from the mystical Dank Al Pastor Tacos, only found at the taco stand on Irving and Stanhope in Brooklyn. The greasy pork gives funk, the spice gives fire, the guacamole gives smoothness, and the pineapple gives sweetness to the sound. These four components are the primary sustenance that give Schmeeze its trademark.
Soraia @ 9 PM

Soraia epitomizes raw power, unrelenting energy, chaos, and freedom. ZouZou Mansour and Travis Smith are the core of this group -- their songwriting rooted in early garage rock with strong dynamics and melody -- and their live show frenetic and intensely interactive. ZouZou has been referred to as "a true mix of Iggy Pop and Joan Jett" onstage. They have toured constantly throughout the US, playing the dingiest corner dive bar, to the most massive amphitheaters in their career, even opening Milwaukee's Summerfest in 2009. Venue highlights include playing their hometown stadium, Wells Fargo Center, as supporting act, as well as opening for national bands at The Rave in Milwaukee as far back as 2006. Their ever-blossoming writing career includes four studio albums, one live cd, one EP, and many singles.
I AM THE POLISH ARMY @ 10 PM

I Am The Polish Army’s debut record, My Old Man is, in many ways, the realization of an idea that began over ten years ago, when Emma DeCorsey was first exploring and experiencing the inspirations and traumatic events that would shape her transient perspectives on the how the world saw her as both a musician and a woman. Drawing inspiration from a near-accident and East Village ennui for opening track, “You Don’t Know,” she and the band quickly set out to reveal a withered landscape of burned out automobile husks and forgotten homes that were lost to the march of progress and trust fund money. “David Bowie” offers a glimpse into the voids that develop when musicians are unceremoniously taken from us and how loose-limbed posers often spring up to capitalize on the sound and history those lamented artists presented.
