Intro to the World of Voice Over

Queens, New York
$48.85 (includes all fees)

Voice Over: the disembodied voice that says,
“Maybe she’s born with it. Maybe it's Maybelline."
"Next stop: 1st Avenue."
"If you've got a life, you've gotta Swiffer."

What if that voice … was you?

Commercials, cartoons, podcasts, video games, apps, documentary narration, audiobooks, automated telephone messages, PSA's-- voice over covers a TON of bases. If you enjoy using your voice and are curious about putting it to work in a professional capacity, I invite you to join me in this, the first in a series of informative workshops that will orient you to the world of voice over and provide you with a foundational understanding of how to launch a VO career.

I’ve been working professionally as a VO artist for the past eight years, and have found it to be an incredibly valuable monetary supplement to my life as an artist. It has the potential to free you from your day job, allow for a flexible schedule, and sometimes, if you hit the bullseye, make a whole lotta dough.

There is definitely a learning curve (not to mention an often-massive economic barrier to entry) to figuring out how the industry works, and it can be super overwhelming to navigate by yourself. When I was getting started, it helped me immensely to seek guidance from experienced professionals. Now, I’d like to offer the same to you, and at an accessible cost to boot.
