Coaxial welcomes Ventura-based experimental duo Slurred Oath and Simi Valley noise/drone master Ian Macphee, with local support from industrial-noise soloist Rust Worship and the multi-faceted Hidhawk. Providing your between-set tunes will be our dear friend DJ Nanny Cantaloupe.

Slurred Oath is a duo out of Ventura, CA consisting of Scott Miller (ex-Sutekh Hexen, ex-Circle Of Eyes, ex-Cattle Decapitation) and Vanessa Darby (The Mind). Exploring a wide-ranging pallet of sounds that touches on noise, metal, drone, and industrial, the duo welds a truly unclassifiable arsenal of dark psychedelia.

Ian MacPhee is a Simi Valley-based artist who's work centers on immersive drones created with field recordings, synth, radios, and other diverse sources. His recent album Distance was inspired by his travels in Japan and was released as a cassette and accompanying zine by Los Angeles label Already Dead Tapes.

Rust Worship is the solo industrial-noise project of Los Angeles artist Paul Haney. Hidhawk is the project of artist and composer Haydee Jimenez, a co-founder of nettnettradio and one of the minds behind the Borderlandnoise performance series. Her distinctive and disparate sound is self-described as a "deconstruction of field recordings, sample-based rhythms, cut and paste noise, loops, collages and explorations into patterns, textures, stories and chance."
