Huzzah! Rejoice! Just down the street from opening day of the Renaissance Fair it’s our very first gathering with the awe inspiring miracle workers of Amigos de los Rios!

Find us at Peck Road Water Conservation Park in Arcadia for a day of music, workshops, food, and service work in celebration of Amigos de los Rios’ heroic work of championing the Emerald Necklace greenways project. We’re also bringing our solar powered setup to share music from our friends Dustin Wong & Gregory Uhlmann, Nicolas Maldonado & Susana Pineda, and strangejane.

Bring your bike, skateboard, or roller skates for a group ride along this slice of the Emerald Necklace. Along the way, Amigos de los Rios will be chatting about about their ongoing efforts to develop a 17-mile loop of beautiful parks and greenways to connect 10 cities and nearly 500,000 residents along the Rio Hondo and San Gabriel rivers watershed of East LA County. Amigos de los Rios has been at this project for the past 18 years, have made astonishing progress that’s effected so many lives, and it’s about time we make a day of honoring and highlighting this commitment.
