Wild Child in the City is an absurdist comedy chronicling Tjasa Ferme’s quest to find a livable apartment in New York City. Directed by acclaimed Romanian director Ana Margineanu (The Window, winner of 4 NYIT awards; Broken City, PopUp Theatrics) the piece combines the writer-performer's European sensibility and Kafkaesque sense of irony with down-to-earth toughness of a New York single girl who’s seen it all. It is a story so unbelievable, twisted, and smelly that it must be true.

It will be performed live and live-streamed to entertainment-hungry audiences around the world to spice up the quarantine time April 25 through May 3 at 7.30pm EST on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Tjaša Ferme is the founder and artistic director of Transforma Theatre, a New York based not-for-profit with a mission to create interactive theatrical experiences at the nexus of consciousness, science and ritual. She is the creator of the groundbreaking interactive show called The Female Role Model Project which for the first time paired theatre with neuroscientific experiments on Off-Broadway stages and at Edinburgh Fringe. She is currently creating an inaugural Science In Theatre Festival.
