7pm-10pm
3600 Lyons Road, Austin, Texas 78702
Yollotl: Encuentro del Corazón is a heart-centered community gathering held in Austin, TX that brings people together through art, food, dialogue, and ancestral memory. Rooted in the Náhuatl word yollotl, meaning “heart,” the encuentro is a space for sharing corazón-medicine — offerings that nourish emotional, spiritual, and collective well-being. Through workshops, music, plant knowledge, and storytelling, Yollotl invites participants to reconnect with themselves and one another in intentional, healing ways.
As part of the encuentro, Noche de Cine is an evening of experimental, poetic, and politically relevant short films curated by Lizette Rodriguez and Luna Vela. This special screening invites us to gather around moving images as portals for reflection, resistance, and reimagining.
